Frightly Boo Breaks Her Silence After Stank of Stinkies Raids Fumes & Phantoms
“No comment, darling… where’s my lawyer!”
ROSEWOOD — Frightly Boo, the elegant ghost hostess of Fumes & Phantoms, faced a wall of flashing cameras last night after reports that a full Stank of Stinkies tore through the bar during Vamp of Vapora’s shift.
Witnesses say the tiny chaos-makers swarmed the lounge sometime after midnight, knocked over garnishes, sampled suspiciously sparkling drinks, and vanished beneath the velvet stools before anyone could pin down the blame.
Boo appeared calm behind the bar, lifted her chin, adjusted her round blue spectacles, and gave reporters only one statement:
“No comment, darling… where’s my lawyer!”
Though she denies any involvement, regular patrons insist the scandal has only made the establishment more desirable. In the Scent Underground, a little mayhem can be read as a mark of popularity.
“If the Stinkies choose your bar, it means the place is lively,” said one delighted customer. “Terrible for cleanup. Wonderful for reputation.”
Insiders say Boo spent the remainder of the wee morning hours restoring order while Vamp of Vapora blamed the entire incident on unruly atmospheric conditions. Management will not confirm how many garnish trays were lost, but reservations for this weekend have reportedly surged.
Whether it was sabotage, coincidence, or the best publicity Fumes & Phantoms has ever received, one thing is certain:
Business is booming below.
Good for Business?
Despite her denial, the incident has turned Fumes & Phantoms into the most talked-about haunt in Rosewood. The drinks are flowing, the gossip is glowing, and curious patrons are lining up to see whether another Stinky will strike.
Curious?
Check out the Speakeasy from 3AM-6AM. Rumor has it that is when they are most likely to strike.
Note: Stinkies are unpredictable creatures so approach with caution. It is recommended you feed them floral snacks to help keep the stench away.
